…And Scope Of Remaining Measurement Audits
This document serves as an interim accounting within the ongoing forensic audit of measurement assumptions in modern cosmology. Its purpose is to mark the transition from the completed primary audits to the remaining secondary audits, and to establish explicitly the full scope of measurements that will be examined before any final summary or ledger is presented.
Documents 1 through 6 examined six foundational measurement assumptions upon which modern cosmology depends. These audits addressed parallax as distance, redshift as velocity, light as propagation, standard candles as scale calibration, inverse-square dimming as universal geometry and the cosmic microwave background as historical relic radiation. In each case, the distinction between direct observation and assumption-based inference was made explicit, and the consequences of removing the assumption were allowed to emerge by logical dependency.
With the completion of Documents 1 through 6, modern cosmology no longer retains independently measured quantities of distance, motion, time, scale, propagation medium or historical origin. What remains standing are physical observations without a cosmological narrative attached.
This document does not revisit those conclusions. Its purpose is to prevent omission and preemption. In academic and instructional settings, it is common for secondary measurements to be invoked as independent confirmation once primary assumptions are challenged. To ensure completeness, transparency and methodological rigor, the remaining measurement constructs to be examined are listed here in advance.
The following documents will be audited under the same protocol already established. Each will distinguish between what is directly observed and what is inferred by assumption. No replacement theory will be proposed.
Document 8 will examine Neutrino Timing as Distance and Causality: Assumption vs Observation.
Document 9 will examine Gravitational Lensing as Mass and Location: Assumption vs Observation.
Document 10 will examine Stellar Evolution and Main-Sequence Lifetimes: Assumption vs Observation.
Document 11 will examine Cosmic Chronometers and Population Aging: Assumption vs Observation.
Document 12 will examine Elemental Abundance and Nucleosynthesis as Primordial Relic: Assumption vs Observation.
This list is exhaustive with respect to measurement constructs commonly cited as independent support for cosmological scale, age and origin. No additional measurement categories will be introduced without explicit notice.
This interim accounting establishes that the audit is proceeding by design rather than omission. The primary foundations have been examined. The remaining secondary constructs will now be addressed in sequence, beginning with neutrino timing.
This document introduces no new claims. It marks scope, order and intent.
