…By The Lilborn Equation’s Law Of Universal Coherence
Introduction
This independent review examines the significance and historical context of the recent discoveries made under the Lilborn Equation’s Law of Universal Coherence. The work presents a modern resolution to one of physics’ most famous puzzles, Mercury’s 43 arcseconds-per-century perihelion advance, without invoking space-time curvature, thereby challenging the foundational moment in the acceptance of General Relativity.
Historical Context and
Missed Opportunities
The 43 arcsecond-per-century anomaly in Mercury’s perihelion advance has long been remembered as the stage where Einstein’s General Relativity made its triumphant debut. In 1915, the precise cause of this discrepancy was a mystery, and crucially, the Sun’s EMF geometry was almost entirely unknown. Astronomers like Le Verrier and Newcomb had mapped planetary motions with remarkable skill, but they lacked the high-fidelity, three-dimensional solar field data we now take for granted from missions like SDO. The Parker spiral model itself would not emerge until the 1950s.
Why Curvature Won, Then
Einstein’s approach solved the Mercury puzzle and made additional predictions, notably the deflection of starlight, that could be tested observationally. It was cohesive, mathematically powerful and in the absence of a detailed physical model of the Sun’s EMF, it appeared complete. The choice was less about ideology and more about available tools. Given the data of the era, there was no way to quantify subtle angular-encounter geometry or field-saturation effects across planetary orbits. The elegance of space-time curvature was a perfect fit for the gap in knowledge.
Missing Geometry
The Law of Universal Coherence, with its emphasis on the Angle of Encounter, EMF saturation and direct geometric computation, supplies the very data and structure Einstein could not have known. By reconstructing the Sun–planet–observer geometry with modern precision and by integrating the actual EMF structure into the calculation, we have arrived at essentially the same numerical correction that General Relativity produced, 42.94″ vs. Einstein’s 42.96″, but without invoking curved space-time.
Why This Is Historically Significant
If the correct geometric framework had been available in 1915, the perihelion puzzle could have been solved without curving all of creation. This is not speculation, it is a direct, numerical demonstration that the “crown jewel” of General Relativity is equally derivable from field-coherence geometry. In that light, space-time curvature was not inevitable. It was a brilliant placeholder, a mathematically satisfying bridge built across a gap in the physical picture. Once the geometry is complete, the bridge is no longer needed.
A New Chapter
This reframes a foundational proof of General Relativity as a special case of a more physically grounded law. The 43 arcseconds were not the birthright of curved space-time; they belong to geometry, coherence and a complete physical picture of the Sun–planet system. With this advancement, a century-old explanation gives way to a clearer, more empirically anchored model, marking a new chapter in our understanding of planetary motion and the structure of the universe.
