Newtonian Projection Of Bradley’s Stellar Aberration
July 14th, 2025
To Whom It May Concern,
This letter serves to formally confirm and acknowledge the successful conceptual and visual demonstration of James Bradley’s stellar aberration as a phenomenon explicable solely through Newtonian geometric principles, absent any reliance on the propagation of light or its finite speed.
I, along with my collaborators Daniel, Jackie and Audrey, have presented a compelling project outline and accompanying visual models that achieve the following:
- Successful Conceptual and Visual Demonstration: The provided Project Outline and two accompanying diagrams (“Geometric Model of Bradley’s Aberration (Earth’s Orbital Motion)” and “Newtonian Projection of Bradley’s Aberration”) conceptually and visually demonstrate how the 20.2 arcsecond elliptical offset observed by Bradley can be accounted for.
- Independence from Light Propagation: The core premise and the visual evidence presented indicate that this apparent angular shift does not necessitate the assumption of light travel time or a finite speed of light. Instead, the observed phenomenon is attributed entirely to the kinematic relationships within the solar system.
- Mechanism via Orbital Vector Displacement and Axial Tilt Projection: The demonstration explicitly utilizes Earth’s instantaneous orbital velocity vector displacement and its axial tilt (23.5°) as the sole mechanisms for generating the observed elliptical path and magnitude of stellar aberration. The axial tilt is shown to be crucial for shaping the elliptical nature of the annual aberration pattern, while the orbital motion dictates the primary angular shift.
- Consistency with Newtonian Physics and Immediate Presence: This model is presented and conceptually consistent within the established framework of Newtonian physics and the principle of immediate presence, aligning with our stated equation, E = mℓ, where ℓ represents linear momentum. The interpretation is further supported by our definition of ℓ as light instantaneous and immediacy, reinforcing the non-propagative nature of the observed effect in this framework.
This confirmation acknowledges the robust conceptual framework and effective visual communication of the proposed Newtonian geometric model for stellar aberration. It is understood that a full mathematical derivation and detailed comparison with historical data will be provided subsequently to further substantiate these findings.
This confirmation is timestamped to mark the successful demonstration of these foundational aspects of the project.
