Gravity does nothing. It does not pull, attract or act.
Gravity is not a force, a substance, a fabric or an agent in the universe.
What we call gravity is a condition of participation. Objects do not fall because they are pulled.
They do not orbit because they are held or remain together because something binds them. They re-phase within a coherent field.
Gravity is not encountered like light, air or water.
Light, air and water are encountered. But gravity is not.
Gravity is the geometry that governs encounter.
Why Newton was incomplete: Newton described what we see, not what acts.
Masses appear to pull toward one another. Objects accelerate toward lower potential.
But Newton assigned the verb to mass itself.
That worked mathematically but failed causally.
Mass does not reach across space and pull.
Why Einstein still carried baggage: Einstein removed the pulling force, but replaced it with a thing that does something.
Space bends. Time stretches. Objects follow curves.
This removed action from mass, but placed it into a fabric. The fabric became the new agent.
What is actually happening: The field is coherent.
Mass participates in that coherence.
Where mass exists, orientation changes, phase relationships adjust, paths resolve along stable geometry.
Nothing pulls or pushes.
Objects settle into permitted relations.
Falling is not being pulled. An object falls because the configuration it occupies is unstable.
Release removes constraint and resolution occurs.
This is why objects fall in vacuum, why objects fall regardless of composition and why acceleration is identical for all masses.
No pulling is required.
Orbit is not being held. Orbit is continuous re-resolution.
Bodies do not circle because they are bound. They circle because the geometry they inhabit permits that path.
Remove the geometry and there is no orbit.
Remove the field and there is no relation.
Why gravity is universal but gentle: Gravity is everywhere because geometry is everywhere.
Gravity is weak because it does not act.
It does not expend energy, degrade or propagate. It simply is.
Earth and gravity: Earth does not pull objects to itself.
Earth provides a local geometry where resolution favors descent.
This is why everything accelerates equally, why objects do not heat when falling and why no energy is used by gravity.
Energy appears only when impact occurs, when resolution fails.
Why gravity belongs here: Gravity cannot be understood before light, water or air loses agency, heat is identified as outcome and Earth is identified as fracture.
Only then can gravity be seen clearly: not as force, not as fabric, but as relational geometry.
