Light As Presence Without Propagation

Reconstruction Of
ℓ As Instantaneous Coherence Presence

Introduction

The first four articles removed false primitives, restored mass-bound identity, placed the observer correctly and rebuilt time as local accounting. One final reconstruction remains. This article establishes light (ℓ) not as a traveling entity, carrier or particle, but as instantaneous coherence presence.

This is not a reinterpretation of light’s behavior. It is a correction of light’s ontological status.

Why Propagation Cannot be Fundamental

No experiment observes light in transit.

All observations of light are observations of resolution: emission, absorption, reflection or detection. Between these encounters, light is never measured, sampled or accessed.

The concept of propagation is inferred from accounting comparisons between mass-bound systems. It is not a directly observed phenomenon.

Velocity as Constraint, Not Motion

The constant c does not describe the motion of an entity through space. It describes the maximum rate at which resolved encounters can be coherently related between mass-bound systems.

Velocity is therefore a constraint on resolution, not evidence of transport.

Light as Coherence Presence

In the Lilborn Framework, ℓ denotes instantaneous coherence presence. It is not emitted, transmitted or carried. It manifests only when identity (m) and field coherence encounter.

Light is therefore inseparable from resolution itself. It is not something that arrives; it is what resolution is.

Why Distance Does Not Delay Light

Distance does not delay presence. Observed delays arise from the accounting structure of mass-bound systems comparing resolved encounters.

When clocks differ, resolution appears offset. Nothing has traveled between them.

Reinterpreting Optical Phenomena

Reflection, refraction, diffraction and interference are not behaviors of a traveling entity. They are geometric conditions governing how coherence resolves relative to mass-bound boundaries.

Patterns emerge from repeated resolution, not from motion through space.

Consequences for Physics and Cosmology

With light rebuilt as presence:
– Horizon problems dissolve

– Redshift becomes structural, not kinetic

– Nonlocality ceases to be paradoxical

– Causality is preserved without propagation

Equations remain valid. Ontology is corrected.

Completion of this Study

This article completes the sequence. Time is no longer an element. Light is no longer a traveler. The observer is no longer external. Mass-bound identity anchors resolution.

What remains is a unified field of encounter governed by stillness, presence and resolution.

Conclusion

Light does not move through the universe. Light is the universe resolving locally.

With ℓ restored to its proper role, the unified field stands complete.
