Preamble

The original rupture occurred when Olaf Rømer interpreted the delay in Io’s eclipse as proof that light must travel at a finite speed. From that moment, light was no longer presence, it was particle, projectile or wave, depending on the era. But it was never again coherence.

This designation shattered the ontological foundation of physics.

It replaced:
– Presence with trajectory

– Structure with motion

– Emergence with transport

Physics became a clockwork, not a climate. It became a theory of forces, not a record of structural interaction. The universe became a stage, not a field.

Machinery of Myth
