Introduction
This document establishes the collapse of gravitational lensing as an explanation for cosmic appearance. Gravitational lensing depends entirely on the belief that light travels, follows geodesics and is bent by spacetime curvature near massive bodies. Once light is restored as presence, redshift as curvature and the universe as a continuous scroll, the entire concept of bending light becomes impossible. All observational lensing effects arise from EMF encounter geometry, not from gravitational deflection.
Lensing Requires Traveling Photons
Conventional lensing assumes that light travels across space, mass curves spacetime, photons follow curved paths and observers receive deflected beams.
None of these assumptions hold under the Lilborn Equation.
Light is presence, not propagation.

In scroll geometry, lensing is the change in the Angle of Encounter (Æ) between the observer’s EMF frame and the curvature of the scroll.
Brightness, position and shape appear altered because the observer’s encounter geometry changes, not because light is bent in transit.
Lensing is refraction-like encounter, not motion.

Lensing maps traditionally used to infer dark matter halos are in fact maps of EMF tension and curvature.
Clusters, filaments and voids produce predictable encounter distortions without invisible mass.
Dark matter is unnecessary once EMF geometry is restored.
Strong, Weak and Micro-Lensing
Are EMF Effects
1. Strong lensing: multiple images arise from multiple equal-Æ encounter points.
2. Weak lensing: statistical distortions arise from gradients in EMF tension.
3. Micro-lensing: small brightening events arise from localized alignment shifts.
All are immediate encounter effects of curvature, not gravitational bending.
Lensing Contradicts General Relativity
GR requires spacetime curvature and photon motion.
Scroll geometry eliminates both.
Lensing cannot validate GR because the mechanism GR requires does not exist.
The observed effects are produced by EMF encounter, not by gravitational warping of space.
Why Lensing Fits the Scroll Perfectly
Lensing aligns with directional curvature, anisotropic structure, EMF gradients and the organization of filaments and voids.
What cosmologists call “lensing anomalies” are signatures of the scroll’s geometry.
Lensing Requires No Extra Mass
Dark matter was invoked to explain lensing discordances.
But these effects are simply encounter shifts produced by the scroll.
No missing mass is required.
The True Nature of “Deflection”
Deflection is the observer seeing through a fold in the scroll.
Appearance bends; nothing else does.
